Matthew Longman, RMT has over 30 years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist.. Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) in British Columbia are health care professionals committed to restoring and maintaining optimal health for their patients. They are educated to assess and treat using techniques such as manual therapy, joint mobilization, hydrotherapy, rehabilitative exercise and patient education.

Massage therapists are effective in the treatment and management of many health conditions: cancer, carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia, low back pain, headaches, multiple sclerosis, osteo arthritis, plantar fasciitis, pregnancy, sports injuries and performance, stroke, whiplash, stress release, Temporomandibular Joint Disorder, neck and shoulder tension, etc.

Matthew Longman, RMT has extensive experience with stroke recovery, pain reduction, and recovery and healing after motor vehicle accidents. Matthew's ability to reduce anxiety and stress while maintaining a medical focus are key strengths.

After graduation from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1992, Matthew Longman practiced in Vancouver at Burrard Integrated Health Clinic, a multi-disciplinary clinic near St. Paul’s Hospital. In 1993, Matthew returned to Kelowna, where he had grown up, to setup Healthbridge Clinic with Marsha Warman, RMT. Ethel Street Therapeutic Massage was established in Kelowna by Matthew Longman in 1996 until its closure in 2022. Matthew has since moved to Armstrong, BC and is proud to open Armstrong Registered Massage Therapy in 2023.

My name is Tara Roberts and I am a Registered Massage Therapist. I attended OVCMT here in the Okanagan and obtained my license from the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia in 2011. My family and I have relocated back to BC from the Yukon.

As a massage therapist, I have always been interested in how the body works and traditional healing practices. I really enjoy helping people relax and feel better. I believe that massage therapy is a great way to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and ease pain. I am passionate about helping people feel their best and to reach their wellness goals.

In addition to practicing massage therapy, I also enjoy painting, baking, working in my garden, playing hockey, exercising and most outdoor activities!

It is my intention to use massage therapy to support each patients’ health care plan and to provide quality care for all patients.
